For Ans, home feels above all warm and cozy. Her living room is bright and spacious, but far from strictly styled. It's precisely the mix of colors, accessories, and personal items that makes it her own. It is precisely the furniture and accessories with a memory attached that make the house special. For example, there is still an old church bench that Ans once received from her father. At first, she didn't actually like it at all. One day, she spontaneously decided to paint it white. Without sanding, without pre-treatment. Just put the brush to it. Since then, it has grown into one of her favorite pieces of furniture. She also doesn't change her interior because the seasons demand it. Sometimes she's just tired of the decor and everything gets a new place. This way, the house remains constantly surprising. 

Her favorite spot? Without a doubt, the kitchen table. That's where conversations happen, laughter is shared, and time is spent together. 

"I once just painted the bench white, without sanding. Since then, I've completely fallen in love with it."

Ans first came across By SIDDE via Instagram. She requested fabric samples and discovered that the showroom in Eerbeek was surprisingly close. So she took her husband along for a look. They had actually set their sights on a completely different modular sofa. But as soon as they entered the showroom, something unexpected happened. Their attention immediately went to the pink Molli. Ans's tips 

Ans wouldn't call herself an interior expert, but she has learned a few things while furnishing her home. For example, she discovered how useful it is to place fabric samples and paint colors next to each other before making a choice. Only when you truly see the colors together do you get a good idea of the final result. Although she is quite susceptible to beautiful interior trends, she ultimately tries to follow her gut feeling. That's also what led her to the pink Molli. Sometimes, that one striking piece of furniture or a special painting is exactly what a room needs to gain character. 

And perhaps her most important tip: give yourself time. Especially with a large purchase like a sofa, you don't need to rush. If the color and feel ultimately fit, you know you've made a choice you'll enjoy for years to come.
